Since 2002, Marije Buffing, goldsmith, has had her shop and studio located on the charming Utrechtsestraat. This street is characterized by its unique, small-scale shops, where many also offer handicrafts. It's no coincidence, then, that her studio is located there.
In Marije Buffing's shop, you can see her working behind the workbench at the back. Here, in addition to her own jewelry collection, she also creates custom jewelry and repairs jewelry. Marije Buffing's style is modern and sleek, often incorporating various gemstones, making each piece unique. Her collection is constantly changing, and she also sells jewelry by fellow goldsmiths from the Netherlands and abroad.
If you have any special requests, she can fulfill them. She can also transform old family jewels into modern, contemporary pieces, entirely tailored to the client's taste. As much material as possible is reused. The production method varies for each piece, ranging from traditional tools like a roller, hammer, and file to advanced 3D printing techniques.
